The 355 was a hit from the day it hit the marketplace, in fact its acceptance has been referred to as nothing short of magical in its own right. It was loved by the people and loved by the press and it seems from day one there was a waiting list, with over sticker pricing the normal if you wanted a car quickly. The 355 had the looks and performance worthy of the marquee. The underside of the car is full of diffusers and venturis that had previously been reserved only for race cars, not street cars. With this kind of aerodynamics and matching performance the 355 was considered a serious performance car. This is a spectacular example of an amazing Ferrari. Powered by Ferrari’s 3.5-liter DOHC V8 with Five valves per cylinder that gives a truly intoxicating sound. These have a dry-sump lubrication system and had a factory-rated output of 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a paddle-shift six-speed F1 gearbox. It sits on 18? chrome wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires, 225/40 up front and 265/40 at the rear. It has a Challenge-style rear grille, pop-up headlights, fog lights, an Alpine stereo, air-conditioning, aluminum pedals, power windows and locks. Upgraded to European clear front turn signals that apparently have a cost of more than $800. Ferrari shields are on the front fenders. It has 28,191 registered miles. An engine-out belt service was last completed in 2017 and service records show a new clutch at 21,116 miles. It has the original keys, the original tool-box, a car cover and original books. Finished in Grigio Titanio 3238 over Black leather and a power Black convertible top. More photos coming.
