This is an outstanding example of the fabulous and ever so desirable 2002 series BMW. To make it even more desirable and rarer, it is the Tii version. These originally were rated at 125 horsepower compared to the standard 2002 at 98 horsepower. When you read below you’ll see this engine is obviously more powerful than standard so a nice level of performance comes from it. Top speed was also increased from 105 mph to 118 mph. The example we have here appears to be a particularly honest car. The paint appears to be all original, it it’s not it sure looks like it. We’ve not seen any overspray or tape markings on any of the under hood decals or door jambs etc and we see no evidence of any accident damage. If it has had anything it must have been very minor. Mechanically the car again seems terrific. It has about 12,000 on Rebuilt Metric Mechanics 2200 Hi Flo ST Sport Motor with a 284 camshaft, 10:1 compression and forged Alusil pistons. Additionally it has a balanced motor, port and polished heads, new injectors, rebuilt and upgraded pump, custom headers and exhaust, MSD 6A Ignition, Pertronix +002 mechanical advance distributor, 320I Radiator, electric fan, rebuilt 4-speed gearbox, short shifter, lightened flywheel, 215mm F&S clutch, balanced driveshaft, 3.90 E21 Limited slip diff, E21 ½ shafts + spacers, cross drilled front rotors, Bilstein Shocks, Eibach springs, front and rear strut braces, urethane bushings, camber adjusters. Kugelfischer Injection Pump, Wheels are 14 inch Borbett Alloys. Interior wise it has had new carpets, new seals and weather stripping, Recaro Sport seats fitted, custom gauges & console, new heater system, new sunroof cables and seals, Sparco Steering wheel, remote door locks, Blaupunkt AM/FM CD and a sunroof deflector fitted. To make Sporty night time driving more fun it has Hella Driving lights and H4 Headlights fitted. To move weight around the battery has been relocated to the trunk. The underside of the hood has heat /sound shielding and the carpet trunk is fresh looking. The front bumper has been shortened to give a slicker look and it has a front spoiler added. Finished in Sahara Beige with a Black interior.
