280SL’s are great classic cars for every day use, strong, reliable, very serviceable and unbelievably elegant. This car has power steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, and both the hard and soft tops. This example is really solid in the floors and body with very good panel fit and alignment. Having been restored about 10 years ago and has had little use in that time the car still shows very well. The paint overall is very good, with only a couple of minor blemishes, as you would expect after 10 years of ageing. Recently the engine had the cylinder head surfaced along with new head gasket and valve seals etc. Mechanically the car drives very nicely with no apparent problems. Finished in Light Ivory with a Blue interior and Blue convertible top.
