1958 JAGUAR XK150 FHC
SOLD
Introduced in 1957 the XK150 was the final and most sophisticated of the XK series having gone through the transitions from the XK120 and XK140 models. Features that became common place like plunger style door handles and one piece windshields were new for the XK150. On of the most advanced features that were introduced with the XK150 were disc brakes, Corvettes finally received this item in 1965? The example we have here is a left hand drive version that spent time in New Zealand where it under went a frame off restoration to the tune of around $80,000.00 plus the cost of the car. It now has a few years of age on the restoration but little mileage on it so it still has a very fresh look to it. Power is from the 3.4 litre engine that is coupled to the 4-speed gearbox. An upgrade this car has received is the conversion from a generator to an alternator for enhanced battery charging. It has wire wheels that are matched to the car colour and they look terrific. Finished in Cream with Red Leather interior.
