You will travel far, and look at a lot of Thunderbirds before you find one as honest and unmolested as this car is. It is an original 2-owner car with the second owner owning it for the last 18 years. The mileage shown has been
represented as correct at 63,627. Sold new by Beverly Hills Ford Company at 8850 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA. We have the original invoice showing the car leaving the Dearborn Assembly Plant with a gate release time of 1.55 am on December 21st, 1956. Equipment includes power windows, power seat, power steering, telescopic steering column, a working Signal Seek Town and Country AM radio, back up lights, heater and defroster and the famous Port Hole Hard Top for a then new cost of $3,253.81. Structurally the car is very solid with no rust visibly seen, with an excellent body and good panel fit. The interior is in very good condition, the paint looks nice but has age to it so some blemishes are present, a nice Patina would be the best description as it still looks very presentable. Mechanically the car drives really well, in fact would have to be one of the more pleasant Thunderbirds to drive that has passed through our showroom. The colour is original and a great combination, Raven Black with Flame Red interior.
