1957 CHEVROLET 3100 STEPSIDE PICKUP
$35,995.00
This is a great looking and driving, slightly custom pickup. It appears to have been a frame off restoration with only minimal use, since having been restored. When we say a “minimal’, how about only 650 miles by the last owner in just over 4 years! He did buy it in a restored condition, and kept it beautifully. Pride of ownership was very evident with him. This truck was built new in Oakland, California. Features include a beautiful Oak Bed with Stainless Strips, Chrome Front and Rear Bumpers and the optional Chrome grille. The step plates in front of the rear fenders are chromed and it has custom step plates with the “Bow Tie” Logo on the door sill plates. Power comes from a small block Chevrolet 350 V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor and an aluminium intake manifold. The valve covers and air cleaner are done in Matt Black with Red Chevrolet logos giving it a nice tough look and it has coated exhaust headers with dual pipes. This is all coupled to a Turbo 350 transmission with a “Locar” automatic shifter and floor mounted handbrake. It has Vintage Air conditioning, power rack and pinion steering, power brakes with Discs at the front and coil over front suspension with custom A-Arms and the rear is a leaf spring arrangement. Cooling is by way of a Walker aluminium radiator. Interior wise it has an “I-Did-It” tilt steering column, a custom gauge cluster with VDO gauges and a “Moon” tachometer and the stereo is an XM ready unit. Upholstery is really beautiful and simple with a nice bench seat with split back and all leather and it still has a leather smell and nice carpeting with matching over mats. Wheels are classic American Racing 5-spoke with Dunlop GT Qualifier tyres, 245/75/15 at the rear and 245/60/15 at the front. The truck sits just right with a nice, slightly dropped front stance to it. Finished in Corvette Anniversary Red with Grey Interior.
