1940 Fords are a very desirable vehicle to have and the example we offer here is a particularly good one. Built as a true Nostalgia street Rod giving an almost stock look but having period updates. Being a Super DeLuxe it has
the two jump seats that fold down and sit sideways behind the front seat. Powered by a 276 cubic inch Ford Flathead V8, a model number 59AB which is by most standards considered the best of the best flathead Ford V8 motors. It has all of the expected Hot Rod equipment that would have been period correct with Offenhauser heads, triple carburetors and the 2-speed Columbia rear end. The heads have been ported and relieved along with hardened steel valve seats fitted and heavy duty valve springs. Cooling is taken care of with an electric fan. This is an older frame off restored car with a powder coated frame that although has been used still shows well. Wheels are
original style widened steel wheels with trim rings and center caps and wide whitewall radial tyres are fitted. Overall this is a very striking car with very nice paint with a very nice LeBonney interior. Finished in Dark Cherry Metallic ('93 GM colour) Beige interior.
